Hi! I'm Laura and I am a sports photographer currently working with Carolina Ascent FC (Gainbridge Super League) and Charlotte Independence (USL League One). I also worked with Anthem Rugby Carolina (Major League Rugby) to launch their brand for their first two seasons.
Born in Greenville, NC, I worked for Campbell University Athletics as a sports photographer as I completed a BA in Communication Studies. I also completed an internship with the Charlotte Independence in 2023. I returned to Charlotte the following year to pursue a full time career in sports.
I have a shot a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, football, volleyball, swimming, wrestling, baseball, softball, tennis, lacrosse, and golf at the NCAA Division 1 level. I have also photographed the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte FC, Crown Lecagy FC, USA Rugby, USA Handball, the Knothole Foundation, and CPL Baseball as a freelancer.
I was selected by Queen City Nerve Critics' Pick Best in the Nest 2024 Best Photographer in Charlotte, NC.
Off the field, I have experience capturing graduation, couples, family, and engagement portraits, as well as weddings.
